It's surprising how easily you can eat even the extra-thick noodles. The broth is a light, niboshi-based soup that, like the soft noodles, doesn't overpower. It's the kind of udon you find yourself finishing before you know it.

When I walked into the restaurant, the friendly owner greeted me warmly. The interior of the restaurant was full of the flow of time and had a charming atmosphere. After hearing an explanation on how to order, I ordered Maruten Udon, which is udon topped with round fish cakes. About 2 minutes after ordering the udon, the udon I ordered was brought to the table. I tasted the udon broth first, and the broth tasted mild and not salty, which was nice. The udon noodles were a bit thicker than regular udon noodles, but the texture was mushy, so I was surprised by the texture of the noodles that I had never tasted before, but as I kept eating, I gradually fell in love with the charm of Miyake Udon. For your information, Fukuoka-style udon or Hakata udon was originally specially cooked udon for merchants to eat quickly, so they intentionally cook the noodles mushy. Miyake Udon is a representative Fukuoka-style udon restaurant that embodies the culture of this region. After finishing my meal the total amount I paid for the udon was 500 yen. Even the price was really lovely & impressive.
